Work in a lovely Market Town at an Excellent First-Opinion Practice, with a Role Tailored to Your Interests

Join an excellent first-opinion practice in the lovely market town of Huntingdon! You will be working alongside the Lead Vet and co-owner, who is highly experienced, a visiting orthopaedic surgeon and cardiologist, three experienced RVNs, two VCAs, and a large reception team. They are keen to support you in pursuing extra qualifications, certificates, and CPD, with funding, caseload, and guidance (they also have a strong relationship with Dick White Referrals if you need advice on cases).

They are very flexible in tailoring the role to your interests, and can increase the amount of consulting or surgery you see depending on what you are after - and a consult-only role is a possibility! If you are interested in managerial responsibility they can also look at a progression pathway into a senior role within the practice.

As the lead vet is a VetGDP mentor they can consider candidates of any experience level, from new graduates through to certificate holders.

Key Duties

• Open to full- or part-time hours.
• Full-time is four days per week (0900-1900)
• 1/4 Saturdays (0900-1700)
• No OOHs or Sundays.

Package and Benefits

• Salary of £65,000+ (DOE)
• Generous CPD allowance (certificates fully funded)

• RCVS and VDS paid.
• 5.6 weeks holiday increasing to 6.6 weeks after two years service.
• Birthday as paid day off.
• Will pay for Visa's/Sponsorship providing that you have previously worked in a UK practice.
