Consultant General Obstetrics and Gynecology

Our client is seeking an exceptional Obstetrics and Gynecologist to join its integrated academic health system and contribute to the delivery and advancement of safe, high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will provide expert care across the spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, continuous improvement, and exceptional patient experience. We are seeking a clinician of recognized expertise who combines outstanding clinical practice with leadership, professionalism, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to advancing standards and outcomes in women's health.

The Responsibilities

The Consultant will also play a key academic and educational leadership role, contributing to the development of postgraduate medical education and the next generation of obstetricians and gynecologists.

1. Leading and strengthening residency education, contributing to curriculum development and educational strategy, providing clinical and bedside teaching, supervising and assessing residents, mentoring trainees and faculty, and fostering a high-quality learning environment.

2. The successful candidate will contribute to research and scholarly activity, including publications, quality improvement, clinical audit, evidence-based guidelines and care pathways, and other initiatives that advance women's health and clinical practice. This is an opportunity for an accomplished obstetrician-gynecologist with a strong academic profile to combine clinical excellence with meaningful leadership in medical education, research, and the continued development of women's health services within the Organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

The following qualifications are accepted:

• UK/Ireland CCT/CCST
• American Board Certification (only approved boards by American Board of Medical specialties accepted)
• Canadian Fellowship (RCPSC) with 3 years post board experience
• Fachartz (German Board)
• 3 years post qualifying experience at a full consultant level
• GMC Specialist Registration (No Malpractice issues)
