The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality adult audiology services, diagnosing and managing a wide range of hearing conditions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a focus on delivering outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive adult audiology assessments, including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and speech audiometry.
- Diagnosing hearing loss and other auditory conditions.
- Fitting and maintaining hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
- Offering counselling and advice to patients regarding hearing loss and available management options.
- Developing individualized care plans and maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Participating in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in audiology.
Skills and Qualifications:
- HCPC registered Audiologist with a relevant qualification in Audiology.
- Experience in adult audiology services, including diagnosis and management of hearing loss.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using audiological equipment and systems.
- A patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
- A commitment to professional development and staying updated with advancements in the field.
