Pharmacist

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Pharmacist to join a busy and supportive pharmacy team in Plymouth.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of frontline NHS and private pharmacy services, supporting patients within the local community while working alongside an experienced wider healthcare team.

The Role

As a Pharmacist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Dispensing prescriptions accurately and safely
  • Delivering NHS and private pharmacy services
  • Providing excellent patient and customer care
  • Supporting and leading the pharmacy team
  • Delivering contractual and enhanced services
  • Following company SOPs and GPhC professional standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement across pharmacy services
  • Monitoring performance and working towards agreed targets
  • Working collaboratively with pharmacy, store and regional teams

You will have access to support from in - store, regional and central teams, as well as opportunities to develop your skills and gain additional funded service accreditations.

Working Rota
Week 1

  • Monday: 9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Wednesday: 9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Saturday: 9:00am - 9:00pm

Week 2

  • Monday: 9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Tuesday: 9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Thursday: 9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am - 9:00pm

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist who is keen to make a difference within the local community.

You will ideally have:

  • Full GPhC registration
  • Experience delivering NHS and/or private pharmacy services
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Strong leadership and team-management abilities
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy pharmacy environment
  • A proactive approach to delivering high standards of clinical care and service

Applicants must have valid GPhC registration and the right to work in the UK. Successful candidates will also be required to complete the appropriate DBS and safeguarding checks.
