An established GP surgery near Plymouth, is looking to recruit a Salaried GP to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking a rewarding role within a busy primary care setting, offering flexibility around experience and the potential to explore a longer-term future within the practice.

The surgery is open to GPs at different stages of their careers, including those looking to further develop their experience in primary care. For candidates with an interest in practice ownership, there may also be scope to explore potential partnership opportunities in the future.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within a busy general practice environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing 6-8 clinical sessions per week.
• Managing approximately 25 patient contacts per day.
• Delivering a mix of same-day and routine appointments.
• Carrying out home visits where required.
• Working collaboratively with the wider practice team to provide effective, patient-centred care.

The practice operates a structured appointment system, supported by an online consultation and booking platform, helping to facilitate access to both urgent and routine care.

The Ideal Candidate

The practice is keen to hear from GPs with a proactive, approachable and patient-focused attitude who are looking to become part of a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified GP, appropriately registered with the GMC and on the NHS Performers List.
• Have a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Be comfortable working within a busy general practice environment.
• Be a collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
• Be interested in developing their role within the practice, with partnership aspirations welcomed.

GPs with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply, with remuneration reflecting the successful candidate's experience and suitability.
