The practice itself is modern, fitted with a wide variety of the very best, high quality equipment such as OCT, Phoropter, Humphrey Field Analyser and more, ensuring the best outcome for patient testing. The environment is relaxed, allowing you to give the most thorough and high-quality service

A key factor of this opportunity is that there is genuine flexibility in your work schedule. Although some Saturday work is required, this is morning only and the practice is closed on Sundays. This is a position with a practice that truly cares about the work-life balance of its' colleagues, demonstrated by the fact that most employees have been with the practice for many years.

This clinically focussed practice goes out of its' way to ensure patient satisfaction in both clinical and dispensing spheres.

Key Duties

• Flexible full-time Dispensing Optician role.
• Able to cover our sister practice occasionally (less than 5 miles between them).
• If successful, your primary duty will be to provide an exceptional service when dispensing frames & lenses to a customer base that has come to expect the best.
• You must be able to provide technical advice on lens choice as well as styling advice to patients with a wide array of designer brands to choose from.
• You will be working alongside an experienced and tenured team of long-serving Optometrists and optical assistants with an excellent team spirit who value each-others hard work and commitment.

• Competitive salary up to £30,000 (depending on experience and responsibilties assumed)

• Operating hours 9:00am - 5:30pm mid-week, Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GOC registered as a fully qualified Dispensing Optician
• Open to newly qualified Dispensing Opticians with the confidence and social skills to be able to keep up with a busy practices & a customer base who expect a high level of service.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Applications welcome from Dispensing Opticians of all levels of experience.
