Lead GP Role

The role is at a well established and stable practice which is part of a larger network of practices across the North East, the benefit being that as well as having a big say in the running of the surgery, you also have the background support of a larger organisation.

The group offer excellent development opportunities with support on offer for developing interests. There is excellent staff retention at the practice with an excellent existing team of GP's a range of allied healthcare professionals and excellent management and admin support.

This role would require the suitable candidate to have at least 1 years post CCT experience and the organisation are looking for a GP who is looking to take the next step in their career and drive the practice forward.

Key Duties:

• Salaried GP Role
• 6-8 Sessions available (ideally full time)
• Well managed workload of circa 15 consultations per session
• Mix of clinical sessions and specific sessions for Lead GP duties
• Patient list size of circa 4,000
• Stable team of Salaried GP, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists and HCA's
• Excellent management and clerical support team in place
• Support for career development and furthering specialist interests
• Purpose built practice with on site parking
• Perfect QOF score and Good CQC report

Package and Benefits:

• £12,000 to £12,500 per session per annum
• Indemnity covered
• 6 weeks annual leave
• 1 week CPD leave
• NHS pension enrolment

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements:

• GMC registered GP
• Included on the NHS Performers List
• Right to work in the UK
• At least 1 year post CCT experience
