Veterinary Surgeon Role, Worcester

Are you seeking a role in a forward-thinking, progressive practice? Well look no further! A locally loved veterinary hospital is seeking a new veterinary surgeon in the Worcestershire region

A fantastic multi-vet small animal hospital is looking for a new veterinary surgeon to join their expanding team.

You will be based mainly in the hospital site, with occasional work in one the branches. The hospital site comes well-equipped with an array of diagnostic equipment, x-ray, ultrasound and boasts a state-of-the-art CT scanner.

You will be joining on a full-time basis; however part-time and reduced hours are also to be considered. The role will be over 4 days, with no out-of-hour or on-call. A specialised OOH provider handle all out-of-hour work and are based at the hospital. This allows seamless handovers and excellent case-continuity with you being sure your clients are being well looked after in your absence. Weekend work comes on a rota basis that is shared amongst the staff and currently stands at 1 in 8 weekends.

You will be passionate about the veterinary industry, and in return you will receive a fantastic remunerations package with up to £60,000 basic salary. This is complimented by 5 weeks holiday allowance, plus paid bank holidays allowing for plenty of down-time and a brilliant work/life balance. For overseas vets, there is sponsorship available. CPD allowance is a baseline of £1,750, although we are happy to exceed this for mutually beneficial courses.
