GP Practice in Witham offering a Salaried GP position for around 6 sessions per week.

This is a single site GMS practice in the Witham area of Essex, offering a Salaried GP role for 6 sessions per week ideally (could potentially consider 4-8 per week). The practice is in a purpose built health centre which is easily reached from Chelmsford, Braintree and other surrounding areas.

The role is for a Salaried GP to assist with telephone and face to face appointments, and visits on occasion. It is a fairly small practice with less than 10,000 patients registered. This is a traditional Partnership where GP team are supported by a Nursing team and admin staff on site.

You will benefit from a very well managed workload of 28 patients per day, the practice uses systmone but training can be provided. The practice has a Good CQC and good patient feedback. There are plans in the future to become a training practice so this would be a good opportunity for a GP who is, or would like to become a GP Trainer.

Key Duties

• Salaried GP
• Ideally 6 sessions (days flexible)
• SystmOne
• Telephone and face to face appointments
• 10 minute appointments
• Some home visits when needed
• Catch up slots in the session
• Time for admin between sessions
• Purpose built health centre
