Salary: £29,120 £33,280 per year (dependent on experience)
Hours: MondayFriday 09:0018:00 + Weekend rota (TBC)
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time | In-person

Key Duties

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will:
  • Support the dispensing process by verifying and accurately preparing medications for patient delivery
  • Maintain accurate prescription and order records, reporting any discrepancies immediately
  • Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of safety and quality
  • Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to answer patient queries and deliver exceptional customer service
  • You will be working in a fast-paced, inspiring environment, building strong relationships with pharmacy teams, local health professionals, and customers from all walks of life.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Qualification (or equivalent as per GPhC requirements)
  • Registered Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy regulations and procedures
  • High attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach
  • Management experience (1 year preferred)
