Territory Sales Specialist, Surgical Ophthalmology - North West UK

Territory Sales role, working in ophthalmic surgery with fantastic, reputable products, across well established NHS and private clinics.

We are currently working on an excellent ophthalmic sales role with an established device brand, who have recently benefited from significant investment.

They are keen to appoint a dynamic sales professional who has a good surgical background and is keen to develop their career and expand in ophthalmics - specifically cataract procedures.

Our client is one of the fastest growing medical device clients in the market and can offer driven sales people a fantastic career and development within the exciting world of medical devices.

The company is part of a larger medical group who work across a number of therapy areas, and are in the enviable position of having established products as well as market leading brands within its portfolio.

  • North West UK


Key Duties

  • You will manage existing accounts and drive new business
  • Provide a professional and intuitive sales experience for all clients
  • Carry out the full sales cycle, interacting with all professional partners both internally and externally.
  • You will receive excellent training and be supported by fellow sales professionals, management and internal sources.


Package and Benefits

  • Basic salary £40,000 - £50,000
  • Bonus 20%
  • Company car
  • Private medical, pension, wider company perks etc.


Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Ideally you will be degree educated, in Science/ Sports/ Anatomy/ Healthcare related field
  • You must have sales experience working with the surgical environment, ideally with a optical focus, but can be within other therapy areas.
  • You must be proactive, adaptable, customer focussed and a strong relationship builder.
  • You must show willingness to learn, and be a team player with an enthusiastic mindset.
  • You must live in or around Manchester or Liverpool, and be comfortable with travel across the North West UK.
  • Good IT Skills (MS Office- Power Point, Excel and Word)
