Are you an experienced veterinary surgeon seeking a fulfilling part-time role in an independent clinic? Look no further! Our client, a well established independent vet practice based in Stockport is seeking a new Vet Surgeon to join their team. With no OOHs or on call, a salary of up to £53,000 and career progression opportunities!

At the clinic, set in the heart of Stockport they pride themselves on providing top-notch care to their patients and the owners.

The dynamic team comprises three experienced Vet Surgeons, five highly skilled RVNs, and a friendly administrative team of four. The practice prioritises the well-being of our patients as well as maintaining a supportive environment for our team. For specialised cases, they have visiting specialists in orthopaedics, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology.

The clinic boasts cutting-edge facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and dental x-ray, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Key Duties

• The practice is seeking a part-time veterinary surgeon to join their team. In this role, you will share in our diverse case load, approaching each case with enthusiasm and dedication.
• Ideal candidates will be confident in both routine surgery and dental case management as well as comfortable sole charge as needed alongside the nursing and support team.
• The working hours required are -
• Tuesday 9am - 5pm, Wednesday 9am - 7pm and Thursday 9am - 7pm
• One in three Saturday mornings 9am - 12 noon
• No out of hours
• No on call
