We're on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Dispensing Manager to lead a dynamic team of passionate optical professionals in the heart of Southampton. This is more than just a job it's a chance to be part of a forward-thinking, supportive environment where your career can truly flourish.

You'll be working in a fully refurbished, spacious, and vibrant practice alongside a highly experienced team, supported by Optical Assistants, Optometrists, and fellow Dispensing Opticians. The business is independently owned by an entrepreneurial and hands-on leader who is dedicated to your professional development and long-term career growth.

Key Duties

• Deliver exceptional patient care, including pre-screening and dispensing at all levels
• Inspire and drive your team to achieve sales and performance targets
• Manage stock, rotas, hiring, training, and staff development
• Monitor and improve KPIs including AOV, CR, ST, and capacity
• Analyse business performance and help shape the future success of the practice

Package and Benefits

• Competitive base salary of £38,000 £42,000 (dependent on experience)
• Lucrative bonus scheme boost your earnings even further
• Flexible working 4 or 5 days per week, 9am5:30pm, with only 3 out of 4 Saturdays required

Key Skills and Qualifications

• You're a qualified Dispensing Optician with proven management experience in optics
• You have the full right to work in the UK
