You will work autonomously within your scope of practice to assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients presenting with a wide range of minor illness, long-term conditions, and urgent presentations. You'll also support the duty team and contribute to the smooth running of the on-the-day services.
Key Duties
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute presentations and minor illnesses
- Support respiratory chronic disease management and medication reviews
- Prescribe medications in line with current guidelines
- Triage and manage urgent same-day patient requests
- Collaborate closely with GPs, nurses, clinical pharmacists, and PCN colleagues

Key Skills and Qualifications
- NMC registration as a Nurse Independent Prescriber
- ANP qualification or MSc Advanced Practice (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in general practice or urgent care
- A patient-centred approach and strong clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and teamworking abilities
