This client is well-established across many Scottish locations and in this Prescribing Pharmacist role, you can offer a gold standard of healthcare to the to the wider community.
Must be an Independent Prescriber
All branches have checkers and use centralised dispensing so more time to spend with patients:
- As the IP, this is a fantastic opportunity to concentrate on providing this service that you have worked hard for, as part of Pharmacy First Plus (extra supplement paid)
Key Duties
- Prescribe medications in line with the legal framework and professional guidelines, ensuring they are appropriate, effective, and safe for the patient.
- Make decisions about drug therapies based on clinical judgment, taking into account patient preferences, allergies, comorbidities, and other medications.
- Monitor the effectiveness and safety of prescribed therapies, adjusting treatment plans as required.
Package and Benefits
- Hours of work: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm, alternate Saturdays 9am - 1pm = 42.5hrs p/w
- Basic Salary £55,000p/a + IP supplement
- 4 weeks holiday + BH
Key Skills and Qualifications
- MUST be a qualified Pharmacist with GPhC registration
- MUST be IP qualified (or awaiting annotation)
