Available Positions

1. Clinical Lead

Salary: £70,000+

Ideal for an experienced vet (5+ years) eager to step into a leadership role without the pressure of sole charge.

Key qualities: approachable, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide clinical guidance and support to the team.

Focus on leadership and smooth operational running rather than management duties.

2. Vet Surgeon

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

Suitable for vets with at least 2 years of experience handling surgery and consultations.

Responsibilities include routine surgeries, some emergency cases, morning operations, admissions, and afternoon consults.

Role Highlights for Both Positions

40 hours per week (4 x 10-hour shifts)

No out-of-hours commitments

Clinical freedom within an independent, well-resourced practice

£1000 annual CPD allowance

Permanent positions — no locum cover needed

About the Practice

Established in 2007, this small animal first-opinion practice operates from a single site with 3 consultation rooms and 1 theatre. The clinic is currently supported by locum vets and a small permanent team and is keen to welcome permanent staff to build a stable, cohesive team.

Located in a large village just 20 minutes from Lincoln city, the practice benefits from excellent transport links and on-site parking. Equipped with standard diagnostic tools including X-ray, blood machines, and a new ultrasound, this practice offers a well-rounded clinical environment.
