A North London Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and experienced Second Pharmacist to join their dynamic team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-volume, community-focused pharmacy committed to delivering outstanding clinical services.
Key Duties
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring compliance with GPhC standards, NHS contractual obligations, and company SOPs.
- Lead and promote the delivery of NHS advanced and enhanced services as well as private clinics (e.g., travel health, weight management, ear care).
- Oversee dispensary operations, including workflow efficiency, accuracy checking, stock control, CD management, and cold-chain protocols.
- Develop strong relationships with PCNs, GP surgeries, care homes, and local businesses to drive referrals and boost service uptake.
- Support clinical governance by conducting regular audits, managing incident reports and near-misses, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and GDPR regulations.
Package and Benefits
- Start Date: August 2025
- Full-time, Permanent (40 hours/week)
- Schedule: Monday Friday (9:00 AM 6:00 PM) + 1 Saturday per month
Key Skills and Qualifications
- A GPhC-registered pharmacist with minimum 2+ years post-qualification experience.
- Someone passionate about patient care, proactive in service development, and confident in leading dispensary operations.
- A great communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
