Experienced Veterinary Surgeon Role, Multi-Vet independent Practice, North London

I am recruiting for an independent practice based in North London. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in Internal Medicine ideally (Not essential) to join their established 4 Vet team!

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys interacting with clients. The practice is a client focussed Veterinary practice meaning consultations are as standard 20 minutes with longer appointments at 30 minutes and even 40 minutes for some! This position would be a great role for a Vet who has a keen interest in Internal Medicine! There are some emergency cases and routine surgical procedures, so we ideally are seeking a Vet happy to do routine procedures.

You will be joining a very friendly team with 3 Veterinary Surgeons in place currently, supported by 4 RVN's 4 receptionists, 3 PCA's and 2 assistants.

The practice is modern and well-equipped with on-site parking available. You can enjoy a spacious working environment with 3 consultation rooms, 1 theatre, a prep area, in-house lab and all the usual toys included!

Key Duties

Ideally, we are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join on a 4-day working week. The role offers an excellent work-life balance and can accommodate flexible working patterns to suit most requirements. Typically, the practice is open 8.00am-7.00pm Monday to Friday. You will have a regular set day off through the working week. You will be required to work on a weekend rota of 1:4 Saturdays only from 9.00am-6.00pm with TOIL.

There is no OOH or on-call work at all with this position as overnight care is outsourced to a local 24/7 Hospital practice.

Package and Benefits

The practice offers an excellent salary around £50,000 per annum dependent upon experience and further qualifications. You can also enjoy additional benefits including registration fees paid and additional memberships included. There is a standard CPD allowance of £1000 per annum with 5 days study leave but higher budget courses are also up for negotiation for the right Vet joining the team!
