If you are a Vet Surgeon looking for your next position to develop your surgical skills? Look no further! This Vet practice based in the heart of Southport, is looking for a new Vet to join their team. With no OOHs, options to work full or part-time hours and a salary of up to £65,000!

This first opinion, small animal practice is looking for a new Vet Surgeon to join their team and continue to develop their surgical caseload. The practice is locally owned and is purpose built with state-of-the-art equipment and since opening in 2017 has built up a loyal and growing client base.

The team comprises 2 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 VCAs, a practice manager and a dedicated reception and client support team, all sharing a fantastic team culture built on collaboration and support. The ideal candidate for this role would be confident with all routine surgery and looking to continue to grow and progress their skills. The practice values innovation and welcome new ideas from individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care to our clients and patients.

Key Duties

Your responsibilities will include performing surgeries and consultations to the highest standard, while actively contributing to the culture of excellence and innovation. This position is open to full or part-time applicants, with full-time positions totalling 40 hours per week and no out-of-hours commitments. Weekend work is minimal, with a rotational system of only 1 in 4 weekends.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Registered on the RCVS to work as a Veterinary Surgeon
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Confident with all elements of routine surgery
