This is a pivotal role as the Business Development Manager within a Distance Seeling Pharmacy, focused on expanding their presence within the care sector, securing new contracts, and strengthening existing partnerships.
As the Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of driving growth across care home services. You will be responsible for re-engaging with or identifying business opportunities, preparing for and winning new contracts, and building long-standing relationships with key stakeholders.
In addition to your commercial responsibilities, you will play a key role in supporting the operational development of the DSP (distance selling Pharmacy), ensuring efficiency, quality, and smooth day to day running.
Monday - Friday hours (with occasional Saturday morning phone availability if required. In practice, this should be minimal with effective management).

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and secure new care home contracts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to successful contract award
- Support the operational development and performance of DSP services
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
- Contribute to strategic growth plans within the care services sector
Package and Benefits:
- Salary from £40,000p/a (negotiable for the right candidate with highly desirable experience)
- 28 days holiday entitlement (inclusive of BH)
- Bonuses to be discussed upon hitting and exceeding targets
Essential Requirements:
- MUST have a minimum of 5 years Business Development experience within a Pharmacy setting; sourcing, pitching, winning and maintaining Care Home contracts is ESSENTIAL
- Experience within a DSP setup is desirable , but not essential
- No visa sponsorship available
