Lead Salaried GP job located in Nottingham with a medium sized practice, leadership & management session per week, £12,000 per session.

We are recruiting for a medium sized practice who are looking for a Lead Salaried GP to head up their clinical team for 7 sessions a week (6 clinical and 1 leadership/management session). The clinical team consists of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and HCAs. You will be working in a purpose built practice with good facilities and have a dedicated clinical room. You will also enjoy a very manageable workload within your clinical sessions of 14 patient contacts per session and rare visits. If you have any specialist interests that you wish to focus on, these would be fully supported and encourage. The practice uses SystmOne.

The practice are seeking a GP with at least a couple of years post GP training experience who can provide overall leadership and management to the clinical team. You will be involved in a wide variety of responsibilities that extend beyond clinical practice, with a huge amount of autonomy.


Key Duties

• 7 sessions available (6 clinical and 1 leadership/management session), flexible on days
• Patient list of approximately 6,000 patients
• Excellent team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurse and HCA
• Purpose built health centre with dedicated clinical room
• Manageable workload of 14 patients per session and rare visits
• Specialist interests supported and encouraged
• SystmOne practice software

Package and Benefits

• Paying £12,000 per session
• 6 weeks annual leave and 1 weeks study leave

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years post GP training experience
• GMC registered GP
• Relevant recent GP experience
• Right to work in the UK
• Included on the NHS Performer's List
