About the practice

It is a tier 3 hospital-status practice with an outstanding local reputation with a unique blend of first opinion and referral clinic, owing to our top-notch facilities and the expertise of our team. They have a team of 17 vets, split between full-time and part-time roles. This position aims to replace a member of our out-of-hours team who is soon embarking on an internship, based at our Long Eaton Hospital.

They're main hospital boasts access to advanced equipment including digital radiography, dental radiography, and an array of scopes and laboratory capabilities. They pride themselves on providing exceptional first opinion care through a multi-disciplinary approach supported by their team of seasoned experts and certificate holders.

Located conveniently in Long Eaton, the practice is perfectly positioned between Nottingham and Derby. Team

Join a friendly, professional team dedicated to treating our client's beloved pets like family. Our current team comprises 17 vets, 23 nurses, and 16 support staff, all working under the expertise of our accomplished Vet team leaders.

Role

This permanent role is tailored for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the out-of-hours team on a seven nights on, fourteen nights off rota. You will deliver crucial out-of-hours services for the practice and their partner location, embracing a supportive team with a second on-call rota for those requiring assistance at night. Accommodation is available during your working weeks, making this a fantastic opportunity for non-locals.
