An exciting opportunity has become available for a Pharmacist Manager to join a well-established independent pharmacy in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you'll have the autonomy to make a real impact while continuing to develop your clinical and leadership skills.

About the Pharmacy

This busy community pharmacy dispenses approximately 12,000 prescription items per month and has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality healthcare services to the local community.

You'll be supported by an experienced team consisting of:

• 3 Dispensers
• 1 Pharmacy Technician

The pharmacy operates using the Apotech PMR system, allowing for efficient day-to-day workflow and excellent patient service.

The Role

As the Pharmacy Manager, you'll take responsibility for the overall performance and day-to-day running of the pharmacy while ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the daily operations of the pharmacy
• Leading, motivating and developing the pharmacy team
• Ensuring safe, accurate and efficient dispensing
• Delivering exceptional patient care and clinical advice
• Driving the growth of NHS and private services
• Maintaining compliance with GPhC and NHS standards
• Building strong relationships with patients and the local community

The pharmacy already provides a wide range of clinical services including:

• Pharmacy First
• NHS Clinical Services
• Travel Vaccinations
• Weight Loss Services

Comprehensive training and support will be provided to help you develop additional clinical skills and expand the pharmacy's service offering.

About You

We're looking for a confident and patient-focused pharmacist who enjoys leading a team and helping develop community pharmacy services.

You will have:

• GPhC Registration
• A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience
• Previous leadership or management experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, patient-centred approach
• A passion for developing pharmacy services and supporting your team

Working Pattern

• Full-Time (Up to 40 hours per week)
• Flexible 4 or 5-day working week
• Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm (1-hour lunch closure)
• Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
• Minimum 1 in 4 Saturdays
