Optometrist Opportunity - Glenrothes - Excellent development ops - Circa £55k FTE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Optometrist to join a modern, forward-thinking practice in Glenrothes, available on a full-time or part-time basis. This role offers excellent clinical support, continuous development opportunities, and a friendly, team-focused environment.

About the Location:

  • Situated in the lively town of Glenrothes, Fife, the practice is surrounded by scenic countryside and enjoys excellent transport links to both Edinburgh and Dundee.
  • The store has recently undergone a full refurbishment, creating a bright, contemporary space designed to support both staff wellbeing and high-quality patient care.

Key Duties

  • Conduct thorough and efficient eye examinations using the latest equipment
  • Provide expert clinical advice and build strong relationships with patients
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across all roles within the practice
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Support clinical governance and compliance with GOC and NHS guidelines
  • Contribute to a positive store culture focused on patient care and continuous improvement
  • Supervise and support pre-registration Optometrists (for experienced candidates)

Package and Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience
  • Annual bonus scheme averaging around £3,000
  • 34 days of annual leave, including bank holidays
