Optometrist Opportunity - Ceredigion - Independent - Up to 65k + negotiable

An independent optical group with a proud heritage dating back to 1949 is seeking a passionate and dedicated Optometrist to join their expanding team. Over the past seven decades, the practice has evolved significantly, yet its commitment to delivering exceptional patient care has remained steadfast. With around 20 staff members across four practices, the team goes above and beyond, from delivering glasses to house-bound patients to continually upskilling through further qualifications.

Key Duties

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests to assess patient eye health
• Prescribe and fit glasses and contact lenses tailored to patient needs
• Provide expert advice on eye care, vision correction, and eye health maintenance
• Deliver high standards of patient service, demonstrating empathy and professionalism
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
• Work collaboratively within a supportive, experienced, and patient-focused team
• Support additional practice services and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experience

Package and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, with room for negotiation based on experience and qualifications
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Key Skills and Qualifications

• GOC Registered
• Newly qualified or experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply
• Fluency in Welsh is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach are essential
• UK right to work
