A well-established, community-focused independent opticians in Elgin is looking for a friendly, clinically driven Optometrist to join their experienced team. This thriving practice offers advanced technology, generous testing times, and strong links to both education and the local community.

A relocation package is available depending on current location.

Key Duties

• Delivering thorough eye examinations with 3545 minute test times
• Using advanced technology: VR800 phoropter heads, Heidelberg OCT, Optomap, and Myah
• Running clinics for children, contact lenses, and scanning (OCT/Optomap)
• Collaborating with the wider team to provide accurate, patient-led care
• Supporting clinical development and mentoring students where applicable

Key Skills and Qualifications

• GOC-registered Optometrist
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Experience or interest in OCT, Optomap, and specialty measurements (e.g. Myopia management)
• Team player with a passion for personalised, high-quality care
• Willingness to support student development and ongoing learning
