Optometrist opportunity - High end Independent - extended test times - Circa £60k FTE - Banbury

An exciting opportunity is available for an Optometrist looking to move away from retail-driven practices and join a clinically focused independent practice near Banbury, on a flexible full or part-time basis. The practice is committed to providing premium eye care, utilising the latest technology, and offering flexible testing times of 30-50 minutes to ensure high-quality, unhurried appointments.

With advanced equipment such as Topcon OCT, Phoropter, Slit Lamp, Humphreys Zeiss VFA, Non-contact tonometry, and a paperless patient management system, this practice offers a range of specialist clinics, including Ortho-K, corneal topography, AMD, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma referrals, cataract referrals, and dry eye clinics. Key Duties:

  • Full or part-time role with negotiable days
  • Weekend working negotiable
  • Flexible testing times (30-50 minutes) to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Operating hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays from 9:00 am - 2:00pm
  • Strong clinical reputation, with frequent referrals from Ophthalmologists
  • A less sales-driven, pressure-free environment

Package and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)

Key Skills and Qualifications:
