We're currently recruiting for a qualified Optometrist to join a well-established and forward-thinking optical team in the Deeside area.

The Role
As an Optometrist, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting the wider optical team.
Your responsibilities will include:
You'll receive comprehensive professional development and training, including a strong CPD programme and protected time to complete additional accreditations, where required. Relevant training and accreditation are fully funded and supported.
You'll also have access to in-store, regional and central support teams, ensuring expert guidance is available for both clinical and service-related queries.
Hours & Rota
36 hours per week - Part Time

- Providing comprehensive eye examinations and excellent patient care
- Screening and monitoring patients
- Supporting the delivery of extended eye care services
- Maintaining high clinical and operational standards
- Coaching and supporting the wider optical team
- Contributing to the development of new and enhanced patient services
- Working closely with the Optical Manager and wider department team
You'll receive comprehensive professional development and training, including a strong CPD programme and protected time to complete additional accreditations, where required. Relevant training and accreditation are fully funded and supported.
You'll also have access to in-store, regional and central support teams, ensuring expert guidance is available for both clinical and service-related queries.

About You
We're looking for an Optometrist who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine passion for patient care and customer service.
You'll have:
- Full GOC registration
- NHS performer registration with your relevant area team or health board
- MECs or WECs accreditation, or a willingness to achieve the relevant accreditation within 12 months - fully funded and supported
- A commitment to maintaining your statutory CPD requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for delivering high standards of clinical care
- An interest in developing patient services and supporting the wider optical team
