Salaried GP

Please read on to discover more about a superb training practice in South Oxfordshire seeking to bring in a Salaried GP. The Partners are seeking 6 to 8 sessions a week and are flexible on days. The role would be commutable from Swindon, Oxford and Reading

The role is at a very highy regarded surgery with excellent systems in place which has resulted in a well managed and sustainable workload for the GPs as well as genuine work life balance. There is flexibility on session start and finish times. The Partners are offering extensive support to develop interest areas or get involved in teaching and training. There is a varied team of clinical support staff to ease the burden on the GPs and a very supportive and friendly working environment on offer.

Key Duties

  • Seeking a Salaried GP
  • Patient list size of circa 20,000
  • Stable team of existing Partners and GPs
  • Clinical Support staff including Nurses, HCA's, Paramedics
  • Excellent admin management from medical secretaries and administrators
  • Support on offer to develop interest areas
  • Training practice
  • Uses EMIS Web
  • Workload of circa 14 AM and 12 PM consultations per session
  • 15 minute consultations
  • Low home visits
  • No extended hours
  • Newly qualified GP's welcome with support on offer
  • Tier 2 visa sponsorship available

Package and Benefits

  • £12,000 to £12,500 per session per annum
  • Indemnity fees covered
  • 6 weeks annual leave
  • 1 week CPD support
  • NHS pension enrolment
  • Contract in line with the BMA model contract

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, included on NHS performers list Can consider newly qualified GP's
