The Role
You'll join a modern, high-volume community pharmacy delivering free prescriptions and a wide range of clinical services, including:

• Vaccinations
• Emergency contraception
• UTI consultations
• Front-line community healthcare services
• The pharmacy operates with advanced dispensing automation, strong technician support, and multiple pharmacists on site, allowing you to focus on clinical care rather than firefighting.

Career Progression & Ownership

This is not a dead-end bench role.
There is a clear, structured pathway to:

• Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Senior leadership or clinical support roles
• Managing Partner / Co-Owner opportunities with equity

For pharmacists interested in ownership, the business provides financial guidance and banking support to help eligible pharmacists transition into partnership and asset ownership over time, an opportunity rarely available in many overseas markets.

Registration, Relocation & Support

• International candidates are fully supported through the transition to New Zealand:
• Clinical exam and registration with the New Zealand Pharmacy Council
• Supervised practice on arrival (typically 48 weeks, often completed faster by experienced pharmacists)
• Supervised pay rate: NZD $45 per hour
• Upon full APC registration, pay increases, strong performers may start above NZD $50.88 per hour
• Relocation allowance of NZD $10,000
• Key professional costs covered, including APC registration fees and insurance reimbursements
• Community pharmacists are on New Zealand's Green List, making residency and visa pathways more straightforward for eligible candidates.
