About the Role
You will be part of a large, high-volume community pharmacy, delivering free prescriptions and a comprehensive range of clinical services, including:

• Vaccinations and immunisations
• Emergency contraception
• UTI consultations and minor ailments
• Front-line primary healthcare services

The pharmacy is supported by dispensing automation, experienced technicians, and multiple pharmacists, allowing you to focus on clinical practice and patient care rather than administrative pressures.

Career Progression & Ownership Pathway
This is a role with a clearly defined future beyond dispensing.
Opportunities exist to progress into:

• Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and store leadership roles
• Senior clinical or regional support positions
• Managing Partner / Co-Owner opportunities with equity

Structured financial guidance and banking support are provided for pharmacists pursuing ownership, giving you the chance to build equity and long-term career security, a path rarely available internationally.

Registration, Relocation & Support
International pharmacists are fully supported through the New Zealand registration and relocation process:

• Completion of the New Zealand Pharmacy Council clinical exam
• Supervised practice on arrival (typically 48 weeks, often faster for experienced candidates)
• Supervised pay rate: NZD $45 per hour
• Upon full APC registration, pay increases, strong performers may start above NZD $50.88 per hour
• NZD $10,000 relocation allowance
• Key professional costs covered, including APC registration fees and insurance reimbursements

Community pharmacists are on New Zealand's Green List, providing more streamlined residency and visa pathways.

Salary Perspective
We advise candidates not to convert NZD directly to GBP.
