We're working with a respected pharmacy group operating across Scotland, currently seeking a dynamic Pharmacist to join their team in Thurso, to lead and become part of their latest acquisition.
- If you're a Prescriber already (preferred), this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the local community by providing enhanced clinical services through Pharmacy First Plus.
- If not yet a Prescriber, this company will help you to achieve this by providing support and insight so that you can become an IP ASAP
5.5 days p/w (possibility to negotiate day off in the week for the right candidate).
Key Duties
- Dispense/prescribe medications safely and effectively, adhering to legal and professional standards.
- Use clinical judgment to make informed decisions, considering patient history, allergies, comorbidities, and preferences.
- Benefit from a supportive environment with centralised dispensing and accuracy checkers, allowing you to focus on clinical care.
- If an IP, deliver patient-focused services in line with the Pharmacy First Plus initiative, with additional financial incentives for enhanced care.
Package and Benefits:
- Starting at £54,000 - £70,000p/a depending on qualifications and experience
- 5 weeks holiday + BH
- Up to £3,000 relocation payment
- Tier 2 Visa available
Skills and Qualifications:
- MUST be a qualified, GPhC-registered Pharmacist in the UK(essential).
- Independent Prescriber qualification beneficial
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
