This is a unique chance to join a highly regarded GP Training surgery, in Merthyr Tydfil, on a Salaried basis

The surgery boasts a large multi-disciplinary team consisting of GPs, Pharmacists, Nurses and HCAs, allowing for a well-managed workload for an incoming GP. They build in regular coffee breaks in sessions, as well as clinical meetings to foster a close working relationship between staff. They have also managed the workload to mean a new GP will see minimal home visits, and would do their Duty Doctor alongside another GP.

Located in Merthyr Tydfil, commutable from Cardiff and Neath. Ample on-site parking is provided.

Key Duties

• Great support from an experienced permanent clinical team including Permanent GPs, as well as Nurses, Pharmacists and HCAs
• Offering 4- 8 sessions per week with flexible working hours around child care
• Strong existing team of permanent GPs
• Low duty Doctor and minimal home visits
• Successful GP training practice

Package and Benefits

• £80,000 - £86,400 per annum (FTE) for a Salaried GP
• Coverage of medical negligence policy costs by the Practice

• 6 weeks holiday and 1 week study leave
• Support for development of special interests areas
