Registered Veterinary Nurse Vacancy, Fort William, Inverness-shire

A reputable veterinary practice is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

This practice offers a variety of state-of-the-art veterinary care and wellness screenings for pets. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians and veterinary nurses, providing services such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite control, neutering, dental care, and emergency treatment. They will also have the opportunity to work with the in-house laboratory for diagnostic testing, such as blood work and urinalysis.

The practice also offers a pet health plan that provides preventative care and discounts on services for a monthly fee. The successful candidate will play a vital role in educating pet owners about the importance of preventative care for their furry friends.

In addition to their work at the practice, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful culture and recreational parks in Fort William, Inverness-shire. This charming town is home to Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, which attracts hikers and adventurers from all over the world. Fort William also boasts beautiful landscapes, including Glen Coe and the Lochaber Geopark. The town has a rich history and offers many cultural attractions, including the West Highland Museum and the Jacobite Steam Train. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to enjoy all of these attractions while working at a reputable and growing veterinary practice.

Key Skills, Qualifications & Client Requirements

  • You must be registered with the RCVS to practice as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK
  • You must possess the right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience required for all applicants
