Do you thrive on building distributor networks, negotiating high-value deals, and turning overseas opportunities into long-term commercial success?

This could be your next big career move.

We're working with a fast-growing, established French SME with around 150 employees and a strong international presence across Europe.

With dedicated commercial teams in the UK, Belgium, and Germany, the business is now looking for a commercially driven Senior Export Area Manager to lead its next phase of overseas growth.

YOUR MISSION

Take ownership of the international expansion strategy across high-potential overseas markets, with a particular focus on Latin America and Spanish- and English-speaking markets.

This is a genuine opportunity to shape markets, build partnerships, and make a measurable impact on international revenue growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for new overseas territories.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage international distributors, agents, and strategic partners.
  • Build strong relationships with major global clients and key accounts.
  • Lead complex negotiations across pricing, contracts, and international trade.
  • Work closely with logistics, customer service, and technical teams at HQ near Calais.
  • Drive sustainable growth across LATAM and other high-potential global markets.

What we're looking for

  • 10 - 15 years of proven experience in international sales, export management, or B2B business development.
  • A strong track record of developing distant export markets, ideally within industrial equipment or a technical product environment.
  • Native-level English and fluent/professional Spanish - essential.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and distributor management skills.
  • Confident navigating international logistics, Incoterms, and intercultural business.
  • Highly autonomous, commercially ambitious, and comfortable working across borders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally approximately 20 - 30%, including regular visits to HQ near Calais.

What's in it for you?

  • £50,000 - £68,000 basic salary + attractive performance bonus.
  • Flexible home-based working from the UK or Europe.
  • An international role with genuine responsibility for overseas growth.
  • International travel expenses fully covered.
  • Join a collaborative, established SME with a strong European footprint.
  • Real opportunity to influence strategy, build markets, and grow with the business.
