Senior Sales Representative - Sports Medicine


Our client, a global leader in medical technology, is seeking an accomplished Sales Representative to drive growth within their Sports Medicine portfolio across a strategically important territory centred on Helsinki.

This is a highly visible commercial role combining sales leadership with hands-on clinical partnership. You will support surgeons in the operating room, deliver product expertise and training, and shape long-term customer relationships that directly impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell and promote the Sports Medicine portfolio directly within hospital theatres, supporting surgeons and clinical staff during procedures.
  • Take full ownership of your territory, managing accounts strategically and executing a data-driven 3-year business plan.
  • Support existing customers to strengthen partnerships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive new customer acquisition by converting competitive accounts and identifying untapped opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted clinical partner: supporting surgical procedures, delivering technical expertise, and providing training to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Build customer loyalty by maintaining credibility, reliability, and ethical partnerships.

Candidate Profile

Essential:
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in sales, medical devices & Surgical experience essential
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English, with strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex hospital environments and engage stakeholders across clinical and commercial levels.
  • Strong commercial drive, analytical skills, and self-motivation.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting clinical procedures or working in the operating room.
  • Knowledge of orthopaedics, arthroscopy, or sports medicine products.
