The Clinic

This family-owned small animal clinic in Geelong combines a supportive, welcoming environment with a busy and diverse caseload. The clinic benefits from a high level of local foot traffic and easy parking for both clients and staff.

  • Operates Monday to Friday, 9am5pm, and every 2nd Saturday 9am1pm
  • Fully staffed nursing team with over 30 years of combined experience
  • Strong interest in emergency and preventative medicine
  • Spacious reception and waiting area
  • Two consult rooms and a sterile operating theatre
  • Digital X-ray and in-house pathology
  • Regular visits from medical and surgical specialists
  • Close collaboration with nearby hospitals for referrals and overnight care
  • The clinic sees a wide variety of patients including dogs, cats, and exotic species, offering opportunities to grow clinical skills and take on new challenges.

The Role
We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Senior Veterinarian to lead from the front, balancing hands-on veterinary care with team leadership and helping shape clinic operations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering exceptional general practice medicine consults, surgeries, dental care, diagnostics, and emergency care
  • Acting as the go-to clinical expert mentoring colleagues, coaching best practice, and keeping skills up to date
  • Strengthening client relationships ensuring every pet owner feels confident and supported
  • Assisting with team leadership guiding vets, nurses, and students while fostering a positive, engaged clinic culture
  • Supporting clinic operations contributing to budgets, stock management, rostering, and overall clinic performance

About You
  • Veterinary degree
  • 5+ years' experience as a veterinarian
