Independently owned practice on the island of Guernsey seeking an additional vet to join their team. Open to 2023 grads, with a salary range of 38-40k. Brilliantly-equipped, with CT scanner!

Looking for an opportunity to join a team of vastly experienced veterinary surgeons on the beautiful island of Guernsey?

This independently owned practice is home to a 10-vet team, including several certificate holders, and is brilliantly equipped with a CT scanner. Guernsey is easily accessible with several flights every day to airports such as Gatwick, Southampton, Bristol & Manchester, making it an ideal location for both work and play.

You will enjoy a sociable 40.5 hour working week spread over 4.5 days, with regular hours of 8:30-6:30pm Mon-Fri.

The on-call and duty weekend rota is 1 in 11, and we also require 2 in 11 Saturday day shifts from 8:30-5:30pm.

In addition to a competitive salary (starting in the range of 38-40k for new graduates), we can offer temporary accommodation to help you settle into your new home. You'll also receive 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays and a generous CPD allowance, up to certificate level.

The interview process would likely kick off with a video call, but the practice feel that meeting in person is key, so they will pay for your flight and 2 nights accommodation to visit and interview in person, giving you the chance to see the practice and meet the team first-hand.
