Hospital Capital Sales Specialist - Moving & Handling Equipment

Are you an experienced Hospital Capital Sales professional looking for your next career move with a growing patient moving & handling manufacturer?

We are supporting an established and rapidly expanding medical device business that is looking to strengthen its UK sales team following an excellent period of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven capital sales professional to take ownership of a defined NHS territory, building relationships with key hospital stakeholders and delivering growth across a range of patient moving, handling and hospital equipment solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of selling capital equipment into NHS hospital environments and ideally have experience within patient moving & handling, hospital Stretchers, treatment couches, transfer chairs and hospital furniture.

Essential Experience

Candidates must have:

  • Proven experience selling capital equipment into the NHS
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within NHS capital sales (ideally patient moving & handling equipment)
  • A successful track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
  • Experience managing a defined sales territory autonomously

Previous experience in areas such as:

  • Patient moving & handling equipment
  • Hospital Stretchers, treatment couches, transfer chairs and hospital furniture
  • Renal services
  • Day surgery
  • Chemotherapy
  • Accident & Emergency
  • NHS procurement pathways

would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow your territory through effective account development and new business generation
  • Deliver the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to successful implementation
  • Build strong relationships with NHS procurement teams, clinical stakeholders and hospital decision-makers
  • Identify and develop commercial opportunities within acute hospital settings
  • Maintain existing customer relationships while creating new revenue streams
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve sales targets
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and experienced sales colleagues to maximise opportunities

You will receive full support from sales leadership, colleagues and internal teams, including product training, market insight and ongoing professional development.

Package & Benefits

  • £38,000 to £47,000 basic
  • Uncapped bonus scheme with commission paid on sales performance
  • Quarterly and annual overachievement incentives

Key Skills & Requirements

  • NHS capital sales experience is essential
  • Experience selling medical devices or capital equipment
  • Proven ability to develop territories and exceed sales targets
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing your own territory
