An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join a well-established pharmacy team based within a busy hospital environment in Staffordshire.
This role is ideal for both experienced and newly qualified pharmacists looking to develop their clinical skills in a dynamic and supportive setting.
Working Pattern
About the Role
You will be part of a stable and experienced pharmacy team, supported by an ACT Manager, Technicians, and Dispensers. The pharmacy handles approximately 15,000 items per month and works closely with NHS healthcare professionals.
The hospital environment offers exposure to specialist areas including:
Strong relationships with the NHS Trust and excellent transport links make this an attractive and accessible workplace. On-site parking is also available.

Working Pattern
- Monday - 9 hours
- Wednesday - 9 hours
- Thursday - 9 hours
- Friday - 9 hours
About the Role
You will be part of a stable and experienced pharmacy team, supported by an ACT Manager, Technicians, and Dispensers. The pharmacy handles approximately 15,000 items per month and works closely with NHS healthcare professionals.

- Oncology
- Haematology
- Spinal injuries
- A busy A&E department
Strong relationships with the NHS Trust and excellent transport links make this an attractive and accessible workplace. On-site parking is also available.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions in line with legal and professional standards
- Provide expert advice and counselling to patients on their medications
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Conduct medication reviews and support safe prescribing practices
- Maintain accurate records and manage stock effectively
- Deliver additional services such as vaccinations (where applicable)
- Support health promotion and public health initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred (but not essential for newly qualified candidates)
- Strong patient care focus and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Up-to-date clinical knowledge and a flexible approach
