Excellent Opportunity for a Vet Surgeon in Suffolk

A newly independent practice is looking an experienced vet to expand their team in Suffolk.

A newly independent practice with four branches, including a state-of-the-art hospital, is looking to expand their highly experienced team including certificate holders in internal medicine, orthopaedics, cardiology, ECC, and imaging.

The role is primarily based in their Newmarket branch, where you will be the fourth vet, and will work with five RVNS and a large reception and admin team. However, they are flexible and you can mix in hospital shifts as well if you want a certain caseload, or to work with certain certificate holders, to further your development. And furthering your development is something the practice are very keen to support, as they will provide the caseload, guidance, training, and funding to pursue certificates yourself.

The branches are all well-equipped with digital x-ray, endoscopes, ecg, ultrasound etc, with the hospital providing a CT scanner and 24hrs OOH service and hospitalisation care for patients. This means you can work cases up to a very high level.

  • 1/4 weekends at Bury St Edmunds branch - Paid time and a half or given TOIL

Package and Benefits

  • 6.6 weeks (includes bank holiday)
  • CPD Budget: £1,500 - £2,000 (but flexible and certificates can be funded)
