Lead Audiologist

The role is at a well established and highly regarded organisation with a long standing background in Optometry and Audiology.

The role will involve delivering testing and personalised solutions at multiple clinical sites across an area including Caterham, Banstead, Croydon, Purley and Bookham, so a driving license and car is essential for the role.

There is a competitive salary on offer of £45,000 to £50,000 plus incentives and a £5,000 car allowance. There is also ongoing support, education and training opportunities available. The position is full time and includes Saturdays.

Key Duties:

• Carry out hearing assessments
• Fit, programme and verify hearing aids
• Conduct microsuction wax removal (training in this is preferred but not required)
• Perform Tympanometry
• Offer aftercare and ongoing patient support
• Build strong patient relationships and deliver person-centred care
• Work across different Surrey branches (driving required)
• Support service development and contribute to new ideas/processes
• Ensure thorough awareness of clinical techniques and product availability, through professional
• journals, attending seminars, training sessions and exhibitions to assist in ensuring that knowledge,
• CPD points and registration is kept up-to-date.

Package and Benefits:

• £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (FTE)

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• HCPC registration
• Full UK driving licence and access to reliable car
• Ability to travel across Surrey branches
• BSc (Hons) in Audiology or Foundations Degrees for Hearing Aid Dispensers (HADs)
• Tympanometry experience beneficial
• Microsuction experience beneficial
