Key Duties
- Deliver high-quality first-opinion veterinary care to small animal patients
- Manage a varied caseload of consultations, diagnostics, medical cases, and routine surgery
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and continuity of care
- Perform routine surgical procedures and diagnostic workups
- Undertake some sole charge responsibilities, particularly on Tuesdays
- Collaborate with colleagues and visiting specialists to provide the highest standards of patient care
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
Working Pattern
- Typically 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday)
- Usual working hours of 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Consulting sessions generally between 9:00am-11:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm
- Surgery time allocated on Monday and Friday mornings, with additional surgery opportunities on Tuesdays
- No out-of-hours requirements
- Potential for increased hours as the practice expands

Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements
- BVSc or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK
- RCVS registration
- Previous experience in small animal practice
- Confident with routine consultations and surgery
- Comfortable with occasional sole charge responsibilities
- Strong communication and client relationship-building skills
- Team-oriented approach with a positive attitude
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient and client care
