Registered Veterinary Nurse

Registered Veterinary Nurse Independent, Award-Winning Practice - Up to £33,000

Are you an RVN looking for a genuinely supportive independent practice where patient care comes first, your ideas are valued, and your development is actively encouraged?

A multi-award-winning independent veterinary group on the South Coast is looking to welcome an additional Registered Veterinary Nurse to its friendly and close-knit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a practice that has built its reputation around continuity of care, clinical excellence, and treating both pets and people as individuals rather than numbers.

Why This Role Stands Out

Unlike many larger groups, this independent practice gives its nurses the autonomy to make decisions in the best interests of their patients without worrying about targets or corporate pressures.

You'll join a collaborative team of experienced vets, nurses and support staff who genuinely enjoy working together and supporting one another.

The role offers:

  • Salary of £30,000 - £33,000 DOE
  • Full-time or part-time hours considered
  • No out-of-hours commitments
  • 1 in 3 Saturday mornings only
  • Flexible working patterns available
  • £1,000 annual CPD allowance
  • Certificate support for nurses wishing to progress further
  • Paid RCVS fees and VDS cover
  • Pension scheme
  • Discounted veterinary care for your own pets
  • Family-friendly policies and enhanced parental benefits

A Varied and Rewarding Nursing Role

This is a hands-on position where nurses are actively involved in all aspects of patient care, including:

  • Nurse consultations
  • Theatre and anaesthesia support
  • Inpatient care
  • Laboratory work and diagnostics
  • Patient admissions and discharges
  • Clinical coaching opportunities
  • Supporting student veterinary nurses and work experience students

The practice actively encourages nurses to utilise their skills fully and take ownership of their role within the team.

Culture & Work-Life Balance

The team has built a culture centred around kindness, collaboration and supporting one another. Lunch breaks are protected wherever possible, overtime is rare and paid when required, and there is a genuine commitment to ensuring team members enjoy long and fulfilling careers.

If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted, supported, and encouraged to develop while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, this could be an excellent next step.

Get in touch for a confidential discussion and further details about this opportunity.
