We are searching for a vet to join a welcoming and well-established independent practice in Glasgow. Excellent work life balance and a friendly, caring team.

Job Summary

We are working with one of the few remaining independent Glasgow practices, searching for another vet to join their friendly team.

Having been around for nearly a century, this practice has established a fantastic reputation and client base, and due to continued success has moved into a much bigger premises.

The practice has all the usual modern veterinary toys you would expect including a dedicated Imaging room ( Digital X-rays / ultrasound), dedicated Dental room with Dental X-ray machine and fully equipped dental tools / IM3 dental drill machine. Both the Dental and X-ray rooms have their own anaesthetic machines. There are 3 Consultation rooms , 2 kitted out Surgical Theatres each with modern ADE Anaesthetic Machines and a common Prep room.

With a fantastic team of 4 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 ACAs and 2 Receptionists, they all work together to bring the highest standard of care to each of their patients. The practice also has the opportunity for further training at a nearby referral clinic for certificate and masters support.

Key Duties

• The practice is flexible to offer part or full-time hours. With full time being 40 hour a week including a 1 in 4 Saturday morning on rota. There are no Sunday, bank holiday or on call requirements for this position, offering a fantastic work-life balance.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Registered on the RCVS as a Veterinary Surgeon
• Eligible to work in the UK
