Candidate Requirements


We are looking for an experienced vet with a strong emphasis on client relations. You will be competent in clinical examination and confident working sole charge. Competency in surgery is an advantage, but further support with this can be given. Rubislaw is a busy branch with a large client base where no two days are alike. The caseload varies from routine consultations and vaccinations to more complex cases that require extensive work-ups.



Duties


- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose medical conditions.


- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.


- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each animal treated.


- Provide post-operative care and follow-up consultations with pet owners.


- Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and wellness.



Experience


- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.


- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.


- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.


- A compassionate approach towards animals and their owners is vital.
