Vacancy at First-Opinion Practice - Rugby

Join an excellent first-opinion practice which offers highly competitive salaries and a fantastic work-life balance! - Rugby

This leading first-opinion practice is undergoing exponential growth and are looking to increase their exiting team of three permanent vets and one long-term locum - who has certificates in Small Animal Surgery and Radiology. The practice boasts excellent facilities, including four consult rooms, a huge surgical theatre, and all the equipment you would expect including a brand-new ultrasound machine.

As the practice is expanding, they can tailor the role to your clinical interests - particularly if you're interested in surgery - and will provide the caseload, funding, and support to pursue certificates if that's what you are looking to do! They are also open to considering partnerships in the future with the right candidate.

What also sets this practice apart is the excellent rota they offer, which gives you the time to perform your job to a high level and maintain a great work-life balance! A full-time vet works 38 hours per week on average, which includes two Saturdays out of five. You can choose to work these hours over 3.5, 4 or 5 days with any mix of long and short shifts. They will work around you to make the rota workable. In addition, they offer 20 minute consults as standard, and have multiple breaks scheduled into the diary to catch up on admin etc., totalling two hours (plus half-hour for lunch) each day.
