Key Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and professional guidelines
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on the safe use of prescription and over-the-counter medicines
  • Deliver and promote a range of NHS and private pharmacy services including:
  • NMS (New Medicine Service)
  • Flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
  • Hypertension Case-Finding
  • Smoking Cessation Services
  • Contraception and Sexual Health Advice
  • Health Checks and Minor Ailment Schemes
  • Ensure full compliance with GPhC standards and maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment
  • Support and mentor pharmacy staff, including dispensers and technicians
  • Build strong relationships with local GPs, healthcare professionals, and the wider community
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements

Package and Benefits

  • GPHC Fees paid
  • 5 days per week
  • £60,000 per annum
  • 1 hour lunch break (Unpaid)

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • GPHC Registered Pharmacist
  • Ideally 2 years experience
