Are you ready for a thrilling role that offers flexibility and growth? We have an exciting opportunity for an OOH Night Vet in Leeds with a base salary of £60,000 per annum. This position offers both full-time and part-time options.

Benefits

- £55K-£60K dependent upon experience

- Work alongside OOH RVN and OOH VCA

- Reception till 10pm, additional twilight RVN support till 12pm

- Surgical, Medicine, Dentistry Certificate holder in-house support

- £1,500 Annual CPD allowance, Certificate sponsorship encouraged

- Part of a proactive in-house CPD/Clinical development veterinary team

- Happy to support vets who want to locum elsewhere during their 14 days off

Permanent Position Details

- Leeds Birstall 24/7 Hospital

- OOH ECC Veterinary Surgeon

- 7 nights on, 14 nights off

- 8pm-8am

Role Expectations

This advanced practice is designed to support and train the night team in delivering exceptional care. You will have the opportunity to work with:

- Oesophageal tube placements

- Seldinger Chest Drain placements

- Silicone Abdominal Peritoneal Drains

- Pig tail urinary catheters

- TFAST AFAST

- Endoscopy

- Negative Pressure Wound Therapy

- Urinary Catheterisation

The night team will frequently engage in procedures such as caesareans, pyometra, exploratory laparotomies, and more complex medical cases like Addisonian, ketoacidotic diabetic conditions, and severe pancreatitis.

- Catalyst Dx

- EPOC

- Coags (APTT/PT)

- Transfusion Medicine

- Digital X-ray and advanced ultrasound with Doppler

- Flexible video gastroscope, bronchoscope

- Video Otoscope and Rigid scope

- Dental X-ray with CR7 Developer

- Multiparameter monitors including ECG/Cap/Temp/Sp02/BP

- Doppler BP, ECG, Gen11 vessel sealing and more
