The practice itself is a growing first opinion practice with five consult rooms, two operating theatres, a diagnostic suite (with digital X-ray and ultrasound), a dental suite (with dental X-ray) and comprehensive Idexx In-house laboratory equipment including separate dog ward, cat ward, small furry ward and isolation ward. The practice is also a nurse training centre which is great for developing skills and getting support from a great team. The role consists of a 40 hour week split between 4 days with 1 in 3 weekends and no OOH. When you have worked your weekend shifts, you will gain an extra day off the following week meaning a long weekend to enjoy and a great work-life balance. With full clinical freedom, the practice prides itself on delivering high standards of best medicine and has a strong focus on team work and work-life balance.

Key Duties

• Key duties of this role include working a full-time week of 40 hours spread across 4 days with 1 in 3 weekends and no OOH. The role requires you to undertake all genera nursing duties with room to progress and develop your career on the job.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• You are required to be RCVS registered to apply for this role and have a minimum of one years experience working as an RVN.
